What are we looking for in a Human Resources Generalist?The HR Generalist serves as a primary resource to internal and external customers regarding various HR and employment related matters. Responsibilities include maintaining the HRIS and coordinating with the payroll department, providing support to supervisors, assisting with performance improvement and personnel issues, and serving as subject matter expert on policies and procedures that impact employees. The HR Generalist also manages the performance evaluation process, oversees HR metrics reporting, and substantially supports locum tenens and employee recruitment. This role requires extensive human resources experience, along with excellent time management and interpersonal communication skills. This position is
on-site
in our Yakima office working Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
HR Generalist duties may include:maintaining the HRIS with all hires, changes, and separationsassisting employees and supervisors on all HR-related topics, including managing the HR emailsupporting supervisors in staff engagement, performance improvement, and hiring, and assisting with investigations, discipline, and terminationsmanaging the applicant tracking system and supporting the recruitment function, including full cycle recruitment of assigned requisitions, provider recruitment, locum tenens staffing, compensation calculations, and creation of job descriptionsserving as backup resource during audits and surveysmanaging the performance evaluation process for all staffadministering recognition programs, tuition reimbursement, student loan repayment assistance, and other employee engagementsupporting all members of the HR team and serving as backup for absences and increased work volumeMinimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related fieldFive years of varied human resources experienceSHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certifications preferredMust be willing to work on-site in our Yakima officeWhat Comprehensive Healthcare Can Offer YouTraining and Development
