LHH has a client who is looking for a Staff Accountant immediately. This position will be onsite Monday through Friday. Our client is looking for an individual who possess great accountancy skills as well as accounts payable knowledge as well.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.Reconcile accounts, including bank statements, vendor invoices, and intercompany transactions.Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.Prepare and process journal entries, adjusting entries, and accruals.Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.Conduct variance analysis, identifying and resolving discrepancies.Maintain general ledger and support in audits and tax preparation.Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accuracy of financial data and compliance with regulations.Support budgeting and forecasting activities as needed.Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in accounting or finance.Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Excellent time management and organizational abilities.Effective communication and teamwork skills.Pay Details:
$24.00 to $26.00 per hour
