Your Role:

We are seeking an experienced Operational Excellence Manager to join our ISCO Excellence Team and lead the charge across a vast campus of five manufacturing plants with over 750 employees in St. Louis! In this influential role, you will lead Operational Excellence (OpEx) initiatives that drive efficiency and innovation across our extensive operations. Your responsibilities will include coordinating OpEx-related initiatives, building a robust OpEx project portfolio, managing resources, and executing projects that set the standard for excellence.

As the Head of Operational Excellence, you will be responsible for:

Fostering Partnerships and Collaboration

Serve as the primary Point of Contact (POC) for all OpEx activities, collaborating closely with site leadership to drive strategic initiativesTeam up with ISCO Excellence Execution project managers to seamlessly coordinate project execution, ensuring alignment and successAct as a vital link to the ISCO Excellence PMO & Analytics function, providing insights that enhance standardized reporting on savings and project progressCollaborate with the ISCO Excellence LS Production System roll-out site leads, external partners & global team (e.g., support with implementation of specific tools, coaching, progress tracking, culture building)Work alongside the ISCO Academy to develop and deliver an engaging OpEx learning curriculum that inspires growthDriving Site Performance Management

Work together with the site leadership team to jointly define the site master plan (including LS Production System development plan to targeted future state in terms of next levels and/or certification) and to provide status updates on OpEx related topics (e.g., project progress)Analyze and report on OpEx project data, delivering actionable insights to the site leader that drive informed decision-makingEstablish robust governance frameworks, including comprehensive project charters and execution plans, to mitigate risks and ensure successLeading Portfolio Management, Capability Steering, and Knowledge Transfer

Curate and manage the OpEx project portfolio, prioritizing initiatives that align with site targets in safety, quality, supply, people, and costChampion specific projects that make a tangible impact on site performanceEnsure resource availability for project execution and manage belt resources at the site assuring that site master plan targets and expected impact is achievedShare best practices and success stories with local OpEx teams and the broader ISCO Excellence community, fostering a spirit of collaboration and continuous learningIdentify and bridge knowledge gaps, developing the necessary capabilities to enhance project outcomesThis role will be based out of St. Louis, MO. There will be no opportunity for remote work in this role.

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications

10+ years' of site operations leadership experience within a regulated environmentBachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, business administration, or related fieldPractical experience in continuous improvement methodologiesComprehensive understanding of end-to-end value stream improvement including production process, supply chain process, and/or product engineeringLean Six Sigma black belt or equivalent experiencePreferred Qualifications:

Experience in deployment of holistic production systems preferredLife Science or Pharmaceutical industry experience preferredStrong interpersonal and communication skills, results-driven mentality, experience in leading teams with and without direct authority
