The Technology and Media Department is currently accepting applications for a
Network Administrator
or
Senior Network Administrator
depending on the applicant's qualifications and expertise.
Primary job goals:
Senior Network Administrator:
To provide network support, LAN security, network design and installation, assist with training, integration, purchasing, and serve as the network project manager; as well as to participate in activities designed to further District and building goals and objectives related to Technology and Media Services.Network Administrator:
To provide network support, security and installation; assist with training and integration; and participate in activities designed to further District and building goals and objectives related to Technology and Media Services.Required formal education:
Senior Network Administrator:
Bachelor's degree with coursework in computer science, information systems, or another technology related field. Possesses and maintains at least one technical certification relevant to the position and has four or more years of network and project management experience or six or more years of network and project management experience.Network Administrator:
Associate's degree, bachelor's preferred, with coursework in computer science, information systems, or another technology related field. Possesses and maintains at least one technical certification relevant to the position and has three or more years of network and project management experience or five or more years of network and project management experience.Compensation and benefits:
The positions work 37.5 hours per week, 245 days per year, including paid leave (sick, personal, vacation), with annual opportunities to earn performance-based pay increases.
Senior Network Administrator:
Level 1 Classified Support position with a minimum starting salary of $64,593 which may be increased based on years of experience, expertise, and education.Network Administrator:
Level 2 Classified Support position with a minimum starting salary of $56,820 which may be increased based on years of experience, expertise, and education.The District offers generous health care benefits and incentives, reimbursement for position related continuing education in graduate school and certifications, access to the Pennsylvania State Employee Retirement System, and dedicated computing devices.
The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work as a part of a dedicated and passionate team completing work that matters and assists students, teachers, staff, and the surrounding community.
