Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly-motivated individual who possesses strong technical and analytical skills, with an understanding of the wholesale brokerage insurance industry preferred. The individual is expected to understand requirements, identify appropriate designs, code to the design specifications and complete relevant testing to ensure a quality solution delivery. Effective collaboration with the business users, IT, and various stakeholders is required.

What will your job entail?

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesServe as a developer to design, customize, and implement solutions for wholesale brokerage platforms within the organization.Possession of technical languages and knowledge to apply toward identified requirements/ specifications in order to resolve production issues and/or provide business functionality.Ability to review and rationally analyze requirements in a timely manner.Creates and maintains application documentation as required for specified work assignments.Maintains familiarity with new development tools and techniques for systems analysis, design, and development.Work with tier 1 support and the infrastructure teams to resolve issues as they occur.Support system integration, testing, releases, and maintenance.Supports and follows all identified IT processes.Required Skills

Skilled in developing Microsoft SQL Server solutions, including the ability to write and troubleshoot T-SQL and design tables, views, indexes, constraints, stored procedures, functions and triggersExperience in performance tuning, query optimization, using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting toolsExperience with programming in scripting languages (VBScript, PowerShell, JavaScript/CoffeeScript)Knowledge of Microsoft Reporting ServicesExperience with Crystal Reports (Desktop or Server)Superior analytical and problem-solving abilitiesProven ability to work both independently and as part of a teamRequired Education/Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science3 years professional development experienceSQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) experience preferred.NET and C# design and development knowledgeFamiliarity with Vertafore products or other insurance management software

The target salary range for this position is $104,000.00 - $130,000.00 annually.

The wage range for this role considers many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, licensure and certification, business needs, and market demands. The pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Full-time roles are eligible for bonuses and benefits.
