Job Description

The LCS Professional Development Program (Administrator in Training) is a program that puts individuals on the fast track for success in the world of senior living. The Professional Development Program prepares individuals to become a licensed nursing home administrator at the conclusion of the training year, typically 12 months in length. This is a full-time opportunity that offers on the job training in an LCS managed community under the direct supervision of an experienced preceptor/mentor.

The Role:Responsible for assisting the Executive Director and Administrator in the overall administration of the community.Attend and participate in department head meetings, care plan meetings, daily health center "stand up" meetings, board meetings, and other resident meetings as requested by the Executive Director.Completes rotations through each department of the community to gain firsthand knowledge of the interworking's of the communityAssist Administrator in preparing for yearly fire-safety and resident care survey inspections in the Health Center and Assisted Living areas.Conduct audits on a variety of Health Center documentationPrepare monthly financial variance reports for the Executive Director.Marketing and SalesSupport the health center sales/occupancy resultsUnderstand and influence sales cultureLead and contribute to sales and marketing strategyLead and contribute to business development strategy to maximize referral networksWhat we are looking for:

Undergraduate degree in healthcare administration or similar concentration preferredMust obtain a Nursing Home Administrator's license within twelve to sixteen months of hireAbility and willingness to relocate to any of the LCS managed communitiesEncompass a hospitality mindset with a desire to provide high-quality assistance and a passion to servePossesses initiative, good judgement, and strong leadership skillsHas the ability to work well with others and build successful working relationshipsExcellent interpersonal skillsExcellent written & verbal communication skills

Estimated Salary Range:

$68,000 - $72,000

The actual title & salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and other relevant factors.
