If you are looking for career development or simply a great place to be, consider joining us as a Warehouse Operations Supervisor at our distribution center in Locust Grove, GA.YOUR ROLEIn this role, you will lead a team and have general responsibility for coordinating daily warehouse activities to ensure the full and efficient operation of your assigned area. Your typical shift will be Monday - Thursday, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm. As a 3PL provider, we will count on your leadership skills to help drive excellent service for our valued customer.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESStrong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyStrong PC skills (Windows, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook)Supervise the scheduling of incoming orders to ensure efficient resources utilizationDirect the daily operations of the control tower personnelEstablish, manage, review and report OOR metrics in concert with internal groups (inventory, LTL Picking, etc.) and external customersReview, plan, evaluate and orders for pickingAnalyze information, forecasts, , schedules, systems, processes and procedures to determine most useful business solutions for the company.Excellent written/oral communication skills, strong analytical and problem solving skillsThorough understanding of warehouse operational procedures, including receiving, order processing, picking, packing, shipping, inventory management and cycle countingExtensive knowledge of all WMS functions and how they relate to operational proceduresThe ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics processes, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to adapt to changing prioritiesPerform capacity planning by analyzing the demand and supply balance for the scheduled materials, determining out of balance conditions, identifying alternatives, and recommending actions for bringing the plan into balanceReceives and reviews sales orders against current requirements and work in process using the material requirement planning reportEngage cross functionally and interdepartmentallywith supervisors on picking status and inventory and planning issuesYOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCESHigh school diploma or equivalent3+ years of recent experience in a warehouse environment2 or more years in a supervisory roleExperience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)GOOD REASON TO JOINThere has never been a better time to work in logistics.
