Job Description

The Washington Post is seeking a Senior Product Manager, AdTech to join the monetization product team and play a critical role in developing the next generation of advertising technology at The Washington Post. The position will be based in New York and will require as needed travel to our Washington, DC office.

Own and maintain the product roadmap for contextual ad targeting, ad tools, and programmatic platform optimization.Assist with all aspects of the product life cycle, including strategy, product requirements definition, design, user testing, launch plans and future enhancementsCollaborate with advertising partners to set quarterly OKRs and track progressManage the integration of internal and external advertising technology on the Washington Post's O&O propertiesSet KPIs and regularly track product performance, benchmarks and success metrics and drive strategy on best areas for enhancement and growthLead through influence by building trust and alignment with clear, proactive communication about your plans, progress, successes, and setbacks.Qualifications

5+ years of product management experience with a minimum of 2 years in adtechA proven track record of critical thinking and problem solving in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail.A collaborative spirit and ability to build strong partnerships across disciplines that result in better product outcomes.Exceptional communication, writing, and presentation skills.Comfortable using quantitative and qualitative data to identify user needs and inform solutions.Preferred qualifications

Experience shaping product methodology, technical solutioning, and the software development process, particularly as it relates to ad-tech.Experience working in the publisher industry and/or the Passion for The Washington Post or the journalism industry at largeCompensation and Benefits

Benefits may vary based on the job, full-time or part-time schedule, location, and collectively bargained status.

The salary range for this position is:89,900.00 - 149,600.00 USD Annual

The actual salary within this range will depend on individual skills, experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements. This position may be eligible for a bonus or incentive program, and a member of the Talent Acquisition team will discuss bonus payment terms and conditions during the interview process.
