The Logistics Analyst is responsible for auditing, processing, and paying all freight invoices for the AFL, FAA and other Business Units. Report monthly freight accrual and savings from invoice auditing. Analyze both product delivery and supply chain transportation processes and procedures to identify and recommend improvements to maximize delivery efficiency while minimizing costs. Provide shipment tracking for outbound and inbound shipments. Confer with logistics management to determine ways to optimize service levels, maintain supply-chain efficiency, and minimize cost. Maintain relationships with internal and external Logistics customers.

This position must be able to work 8am-5pm Pacific Time per project and business need .

Responsibilities

Uses Oracle, Adobe Acrobat, Vendor-provided systems, and Microsoft Office programs including: Word, Excel, Outlook, TeamsReview and approve domestic transportation invoices processed by 3PLAssist with monthly, quarterly, and annual freight reportingMaintain daily shipping and tracking reports with accuracyDiscover the most cost-effective shipping modes and schedulesManage multiple daily delivery reports for high-level customersMaintain strong relationships with high-level customers to understand their logistics needs and expectationsAddress customer inquiries and resolve issues related to shipping and deliveriesMaintain relationships with external and internal Logistics customersMust work and communicate effectively with carriers and TMS partnersProactively manage urgent situationsAnalyze logistics data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvementEstablish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics efficiency, customer satisfaction, and cost-effectiveness.Optimize transportation routes and schedules to enhance operational efficiency while minimizing costs and delivery times.Qualifications

Associates Degree required and equivalent experience or Bachelor's Degree preferred.Ability to communicate and interact effectively inter-departmentally.Proficient with MS Office applicationsAnalytical, Mathematical, and Problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyDetail oriented
