Human Resources Generalist
will work in collaboration with the Human Resources Business Partners and in partnership with the operational leadership team(s) to successfully support all human resources related functions in their assigned Vista Care locations.
The
Human Resources Generalist
will be responsible for the daily functions of the HR department, including but not limited to: enforcing company policies and procedures, providing employee relations and engagement support, assisting with benefits administration and related employee questions, worker’s compensation, OSHA reporting and compliance, maintaining employee records and other activities as assigned. The
HR Generalist
role is responsible for delivering value-added service that reflects Vista Care’s mission, vision, and values.AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:Work Schedule: Full Time; standard work week is Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm.Location/Travel: Onsite in Sheboygan, WI.RESPONSIBLE TO:The

reports to the Director of Employee Relations.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:Reporting from HRIS and other systemsMonitoring HR phone line and emailAssist on-site with access to corporate office and addressing visitors to HR DepartmentProvide excellent customer service to employees who reach out to or stop in for support from HR DepartmentPartner with Operations Leaders on Worker's Comp claimsAdminister and manage employee leave requestsMaintain company org charts and recordsComplete employee relations investigations as assignedAssist with drafting routine disciplinary action documents, performance improvement plans, etc.Attends ANE debriefsProvide HR Policy guidance and interpretationOther duties as assignedRequirementsHS Diploma or GED requiredA college, or university degree or the equivalent is preferred. Degree in Human Resources, Human Services, or a similar field preferred.One (1) to three (3) years of human resource or similar field experience is preferredPHR or SHRM-CP certification preferredMust be 18 years of ageClear background check in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and Vista Care's best practicesConsistently demonstrates effective decision-making abilities, strong communication skills, and computer literacyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesStrong analytical and problem solving skillsDemonstrate ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentialityDemonstrated knowledge of employment-related laws and regulationsProficiency with or the ability to quickly learn Vista Care's HRIS and talent management systemsPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.Day travel required and some overnight travel may be expected.BenefitsHealth, Dental, & Vision InsuranceGenerous PTO Policy401k PlanGrowth-minded company with opportunity for career development & advancementLeadership team that is dedicated to our company value of "Balance", which includes work/life balanceMission and values driven company culturePAY:$24.51-27.88 hourly, depending on experience.If you are interested in this position, please apply today!
