Purchasing Project Leader - Aftermarket Parts and New Product Development
Location:
Hybrid:2-3 days in office in Kohler, WI or Metro-Milwaukee.
Opportunity
Support purchasing activities for New Product Development projectsand Aftermarket Parts globally for Rehlko entities. Ability to manage multi-locationcomplex scope projects, while meeting key date deliverables, and project costtargets. The ideal candidate will have Purchasing experience supporting NewProduct Development and Aftermarket Parts, along with strong analytical,negotiation, and communication skills.
Support New Product Development projects and Aftermarket Parts globallyWork cross-functionally to understand and adhere to project timelines and deliverablesMonitor and track project costs in comparison to the specified budget and business caseProactively identify/communicate supply chain risks and communicate schedule changes, building trust with suppliers and cross-functional team membersManages the strategic involvement of suppliers at early stages of new projectsSupport RFQ & analysis for new projects, partnering with the Category Leads while adhering to Global Commodity Strategies to determine the most competitive solution based upon total cost of ownershipCreate Make Vs. Buy analysis and drive decision execution toward product introductionCollaborate with the legal team to create and execute documents protection Intellectual Property & supply continuityReport updates to management along with detailed gap analysis and corrective action plansManages the strategic involvement of suppliers at early stages of new projectsCross-functional collaboration with multiple functions regarding supplier selection, quality of product, product performance and required specificationsCoordination with Production, Engineering, Purchasing, Materials, Manufacturing, Sales, and Marketing to ensure project scope and stakeholder expectations are in alignmentDevelop effective communication flow with internal customers and supply base.Proactively collaborate with customers (internally & externally)Fostering support from manufacturing plant resources to ensure schedule dates and issues are understood and in accordance with resource planningWork with Aftermarket teams globally to identify areas of improvement within the purchasing organization and support the creation/implementation of new processes to ensure efficient purchasing support to the Aftermarket teamsCreate strategies for Aftermarket Parts product categories.Working with Category leaders globally to create a Corporate wide strategy for each major spend categorySolving unique supply chain problems and implementing corrective actions and standard proceduresSkills/Requirements
Bachelor'sdegree from an accredited Supply Chain, Business or Engineering Program or bachelor'sdegree in a related field.3-7 years of previous Purchasing or Project Management experience preferred.Familiarity with MRP systems for production planning and inventory control. StrongSAPERP system experience preferred. Manufacturing background a plus.

The salary range for this position is $76050 - $96050. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
