Job Responsibilities

Reviews and verifies purchase requisitions and shopping carts for the agency. Prepares and verifies purchase orders to ensure proper vendor ane commodity codes. Ensure orders are placed with the vendor or assists staff with purchase. Supervises the selection, award and administration of all contracts including highly complex service contracts for information technology equipment. Prepares specification, source selection and bid/proposal award; participates in continuing education programs to ensure compliance with state purchasing regulations and procedures. Ensures compliance with asset capitalization requirements including development of amortization schedures for leases of office space, office equipment and software. Conducts monthly reviews to ensure compliance with payment schedules and completes associated year and closing packages and reports.Minimum and Additional Requirements

A Bachelor's Degree and experience in procurement and contracts.Additional Comments
