Job Summary:
This position provides primary support to employees in various HR related topics such as leaves, compensation and resolving employee issues that may arise. Oversee recruiting, and hiring of new staff. Consult with HR Director on strategic planning and initiatives. Assist in development, implementation and interpretation of human resource policies and platforms. Undertake tasks around performance managements.

Primary Duties
Communication:Develops and maintains effective relationships with all customers.Develops employee education/information materials as needed.Develops plan of action for securing positive relationships with employees.Maintains the highest level of confidentiality in regards to employee matters.Develops and maintains communication on benefit materials.Compliance:
Ensures TJC compliance (e.g., personnel record audits).Ensures compliance with federal, state and local requirements.Ensures compliance with Corporate Compliance Program; reports issues in a timely fashion.
Ensures timely filing of annual EEO-1 reports, Form 5500s for all ERISA plans.Distributes Summary Annual Reports (SARs) for all ERISA plans.Coordinates ERISA benefit plan audits.
Employee Relations:
Answers all employee and management questions regarding employee issues and policies and procedures.Responds to issues of harassment and discrimination per company policy.Participates in the investigation and resolution of ongoing employee relations problems, anticipates problems whenever possible, and develops, recommends and initiates appropriate steps for resolution.Ensures exit interviews are conducted and monitored.Qualifications/Specifications
Education:
Bachelor degree in Human Resources or related field required. Master degree preferredLicensure/Certification:
None required. SPHR/PHR preferredExperience:
Minimum of five years' professional-level Human Resources experience required. Hospital setting/TJC preferred. Minimum of two years' management experience required.Working Knowledge:
Employment relatedLaws such as: FMLA, ADA, EEOC, and unemployment standards. Progressive Discipline, Interpersonal Dynamics, Conflict Mediation, Recruitment and Retention, Customer Service, HRIS, and Benefits. 401K knowledge preferred.
