Highland Rivers Behavioral Health provides treatment and recovery services to individuals impacted by mental illness, substance use disorders and intellectual developmental disabilities.

JOB SUMMARY :The Behavioral Health Crisis Center consists of three departments; Crisis Service Center, Temporary Observation, and Crisis Stabilization Unit. The three departments are staffed to align with DBHDD guidelines for RNs, LPNs, APRNs, CPS, Clinicians, Case Managers, BHTs, and Administrative Staff. The Scheduler will be responsible for preparing schedules and maintaining appropriate staffing levels in all BHCC departments on a 24-hour basis to meet the needs of the individuals based on budget, census, and as directed by administration.
DUTIES
AND
RESPONSIBILITIES :Responsible for maintaining the employee schedules for the facility in accordance with state, company and facility guidelines to ensure that individual care and staffing needs are appropriately addressed.Completes approval of timesheets in Kronos biweekly to ensure all staffed worked hours are accurate.Creates, coordinates, reports, posts, and manages all functions related to schedules of all BHCC positions.Notifies appropriate personnel of call-ins and secures coverage.Maintains accurate attendance records and completes all disciplinary action of attendance-related issues.Accurately enters and maintains data relative to scheduling using company software programs.Monitors overtime on a daily basis in order to instruct staff to flex hours within that week to ensure minimal overtime.As new employees are hired, monitors their onboarding to ensure all training and paperwork is complete before the deadline so staff can be placed on their assigned schedule as soon as possible.Reviews with all new hires the schedule they were offered and accepted to ensure employees comply with and work that assigned schedule.Performs other duties as assigned.Requirements
MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS :
High School Diploma or GED1-2 years' experience in staffing/scheduling in high volume healthcare setting.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree2 or more years' experience in staffing/scheduling in high volume healthcare settingBi-Lingual abilities a plus
