POSITION SUMMARY
The Location Manager directly manages the work and interaction of groups within the location. With a focus on safety, compliance and customer service, this position oversees all daily functions within a specified location. Carries out supervisory functions in accordance with Agtegra's polices and applicable laws. This work would include managing customer relationships, budgeting, profit and loss stewardship, and managing staff.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for directing employees in all aspects of operations including unloading, loading, and sales of grain commodities and agronomy products.Conduct performance reviews, mentor employees, and coach the team through continuous improvement efforts.Coach and motivate team members to meet performance standards through coaching, feedback, goal setting, communicating and maintaining fair and consistent application of policies and practices.Provide leadership in managing team performance, including setting measurable goals, tracking metrics, and holding employees accountable.Maintain and grow grain and agronomy volume and overall sales for the location.Building relationships and establishing trust with new and current customers, communicating and promoting grain marketing products, services, and programs that meet customer needs.Working in conjunction with grain merchandisers and agronomy department to plan and direct grain and agronomy sales programs. Coordinating distribution, maintaining quality, and sales in accordance with Agtegra policies, principles, and procedures on grain commodities. Understanding and enforcing Agtegra Credit Policy.Responsible for maintaining a profitable location through managing staffing levels, expense management, revenue maximization, and risk management. Creating an annual business plan that will help forecast the upcoming year's balance sheet. Utilizing forecasts and software programs while relying on experience to help leverage inventory control.Additional responsibilities as directed by upper management, may include participating in meetings, training, recruiting, community relations, or committees.Adheres to all safety regulations, requirements, policies and procedures, including OSHA regulations, the vehicle policy and fleet safety program and DOT regulations.Other duties as assigned.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.English ProficiencyMust be 18 years or older.Bachelor's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and two (2) years related experience or training; or combination of education and experience.Knowledge of Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA, EPA and policies and proceduresKnowledge of management and supervisory principles and practices, including program planning, contract requirements, budgeting, direction, coordination, and evaluation.Ability to maintain effective working relationships with individuals within and outside the organization.Proficient in Microsoft Office (M.S. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and internet.Ability to think quickly, maintain self-control, and adapt to stressful situations.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
