Job Description:
Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassembliesWorks from work instructions and uses hand and/or power toolsMakes continuity checks on work in process and completed
Essential Responsibilities:
Follow and comply with documents such as work instructions, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructionsAssemble mechanical, optical, or electrical components and subassemblies following specified work instructions and procedures to ensure finished product meets established operational, quality, and cosmetic requirementsContinuously perform visual inspections of materials for defects and conducts any range of functional tests and cleaning at prescribed intervals to ensure proper operation of various components during assemblyReport deviations from standard to appropriate resource for review, instruction and authorization and conducts quality inspection at specified intervalsPerform accurate data and record keepingMaintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety proceduresApply basic math skills to add and subtract two-digit numbersAbility to perform these operations using units of weight, measurement, volume, and distanceWork with RTV, epoxy, and other bonds/adhesivesCultivate a culture that assures effective cross functional teamworkPerform job duties in a manner that complies with environmental, health and safety regulations, policies, and proceduresDemonstrate ethical and professional behavior in accordance with company valuesConsistently at work and on-timeComplete basic testing operations by loading units, starting test programs, and evaluating basic pass/fail criteriaParticipate in meetings and working groups to solve problems, communicate issues, obtain approvals, and maintain specific level of knowledge pertaining to new requirements or policiesAll other duties as assigned
