As the Director of Operations for the Troy site, you will be responsible for all assembly, logistics, hardware, and facility operations for our Troy, MI campus. We assemble six main products between 2 facilities across the street from each other, with over 22,000 square feet of production and warehouse space. Corporate-level responsibilities also include operational efficiency and implementing best practices across all assembly sites in the 365 Retail Markets family (including San Antonio, TX and Mesa, AZ locations). The ideal candidate will be a hands-on individual who is comfortable working with the Production, Logistics, and Hardware teams to identify issues and collaborate on solutions.

You will lead a group of 20 people in our Troy, MI facility as well as work with key contract manufacturers across the globe to ensure our products are delivered on-time, -quality, and -cost to our customers. This role will also work cross-functionally with 365 leadership on various projects including new product launches and M&A activity as necessary.

Responsibilities

Lead assembly, logistics, hardware, and facilities operations at the Troy location to ensure all products are delivered to customers on time, on quality, and to expected costResponsible for $30MM of annual inventory, including shipping, receiving, and warehousingDevelop and implement KPIs across Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost for all 365 facilities with support from VP of OperationsLead projects to improve operational efficiency across assembly lines and facilities to hit KPI targets for Safety, Quality, Delivery, and CostWork across functional teams to improve production processes, customer satisfaction, and overall company efficiencyProvide hands-on support when needed to meet daily, weekly, and monthly production targets on the assembly linesEstablish standard operating processes, including quality control, to improve efficiency and drive consistency across the businessCoordinate and manage the maintenance of the facility and grounds. Identify and implement energy and cost saving systemsIdentify, hire, and develop the talent necessary to grow the business and provide continuity to the operation in Troy, supporting same for all 365 business unitsWork with business leadership on new product launches, M&A activity, and other ad hoc projects as neededLead and support all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe working environmentRequirements

7+ years of experience in leading production/assembly operations or other related experienceExperience leading organizations of 15+ individuals across multiple functionsExperience managing light assembly lines with a proven track record of continuous improvements and experience scaling assembly facilitiesStrong track record of delivering results that improve top and bottom-line performanceMust be a good leader, listener, communicator, and motivator with experience in conflict resolutionExperience with ERP systems and an understanding of Lean production systems, with a track record of implementing operational improvementsAble to influence and gain buy-in from executive sponsors, stakeholders, and peersExperience with End-to-End Distribution and Logistics processes and supporting technologiesExperience with B2B, software, and point-of-sale products preferredSupport diverse and inclusive work environment.
