Manager of Marketing Analytics

The Manager, Marketing Analytics is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting marketing data, creating an effective lead attribution strategy to optimize marketing efforts, driving strategy, improving customer acquisition and retention, and enhancing overall marketing performance. The Manager solves problems and analyzes data to identify opportunities, define actionable insights, and advance strategic objectives through innovative data solutions that result in real business outcomes, actions, and decisions. The Manager leads and supports the development of Marketing Analysts responsible for campaign performance, member experience, UX/UI testing, and guiding optimization and automation.
What you will do here:
Manage team members including hiring staff, setting team goals, and conducting performance reviews. Lead people, projects, and analytic operations; foster teamwork and collaboration. Direct workflow in support of project planning phases for complex solutions.
Analyze and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and tactics to include leads, conversions (closed won business), open rates, click-through rates (CTR), web visits, etc. Utilize data to recommend optimizations, programs, enhancements to improve marketing efforts.
Lead the development and execution of user research programs that provide actionable insights, keeping both user needs and business objectives in mind. Plan, conduct, and synthesize qualitative and quantitative user research, including usability testing, contextual inquiries, surveys, interviews, and competitive analysis.
Build Campaign Reporting and dashboards, reporting organization-wide marketing results. Apply quantitative and qualitative techniques to translate complex and detailed data into clear, concise, insightful reports for use in marketing strategy, behavioral and larger business plans. Provide process improvements to make data more accessible to the marketing team.
Optimize internal systems necessary to provide dashboards and reports, including data integration, data models, aggregation and accuracy. Implements new solutions to help enable real time access to actionable insights. Build, implement, and own marketing analytics dashboard tool.

What you will need:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
required.
5+ years Marketing analytics, sales operations or Finance experience
required.
2+ years of experience leading an Analytics team
required.
Advanced problem solving ability. Self-Motivated, independent, resourceful
required.
Proficient with MS Office Suite Products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint). Advanced proficiency with excel is preferred
required.
Experience with gathering data within key marketing systems, including Eloqua, Google Adwords, Facebook Ads, Youtube, Salesforce.com, Google Analytics, among others
required.
Proficient with BI tools such as Tableau, Domo, GoodData, Power BI
required.
Proven experience with data integration and data visualization techniques
required.
Experience gathering and reporting data in Optimizely Data Platform
required.
Experience using relational databases
preferred.
Analytics certification, Eloqua, Salesforce.com, Tableau
preferred.
