Are you a highly motivated and experienced leader with a passion for process optimization and a proven track record in leading continuous improvement initiatives within large, fast-paced technology companies? Do you possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to confidently engage in cross-functional teams in a consultative manner? Are you proficient in creating end-to-end process maps and driving organizational change to enhance productivity, work quality, and stakeholder engagement? The Process Excellence Lead will be responsible for identifying, designing and implementing cross-functional business process optimization initiatives that drive operational excellence at Verily. They will be continuously focused on identifying and helping lead business line initiatives that can improve productivity, profitability and the value Verily delivers to our customers and all the patients we serve.

ResponsibilitiesBusiness Process Management: Create the baseline documentation for current XFN business processes.Process Mapping and Documentation: Create clear and concise visual representations of existing processes to establish a current state understanding and identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, or areas for improvement. Prepare and maintain detailed documentation including process flow diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and change control documentation as needed.Process Redesign and Optimization: Design optimized future-state processes that align with the organization's goals and objectives, focusing on streamlining workflow, reducing inefficiencies, and promoting a seamless user experience. Implement improvements to processes through the use of technologies, automation, and workflow modifications.Change Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to help them understand the changes being made, secure their buy-in, and ensure a smooth transition during the implementation phase.Project Management: Help lead the cross-functional execution effort using methodologies such as Six Sigma, Agile, Lean and Waterfall, collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business results helping accelerate execution velocity at Verily.Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering or Business, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.7+ years of progressively responsible experience, with a background in process engineering, analysis, and change management. Technology background desired.Problem solving skills include the ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and develop innovative solutions using Six Sigma tools and lean methodologies.Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification with proven experience helping lead enterprise-wide business process management and operational excellence initiatives within large complex matrix organizations.Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience working within a large fast growing technology company or digital health company.Experience with Business Process Management (BPM). Proficiency using process mapping tools (Visio, Mural, etc).Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to build and manage relationships to secure necessary resources that may not be under direct control.Excellent analytical skills.Self-starter with ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $188,000 - $250,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
