LLH Recruitment Solutions seeking an Accountant for a Contract To Hire position,

Monday Friday 8 AM 5 PM

for one of our clients, in the Phoenix, AZ metro area.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. If you are a dedicated professional with a strong understanding of financial principles and a passion for precision, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

Maintain and reconcile financial records, create journal entries and post to general ledger accounts.

Reconcile balance sheet Accounts

Backup support for Payroll team

Assist with in preparing month end and post month end financial analysis

Contribute to and maintain the budgeting and forecasting process

Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement. Prepare financial reports and statements.

Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations as required.

Skills and Abilities:

Proficiency in accounting software QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, in a fast-paced environment

Effective communication and teamwork skills

Ability to read financial statements

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to multi-task

Education and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or 4 years of experience in accounting or a related field

CPA certification is a plus

Soldi excel skills (Pivot Tables, Vlookups)

Pay Details:

$35.00 to $41.00 per hour
