Live events are back, and we are busier than ever! Due to massive growth, we are looking to add a Sr. Staff Accountant to Nth Degree's corporate accounting team. Senior Staff Accountant applies accounting principles to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports. This team member is empowered to recommend and facilitate best practices that support organization-wide financial wellbeing.
You will report directly to the Controller and be based out of Nth Degree's corporate office in Duluth GA. We do function in a hybrid capacity; typically, two days in the office, three days remote.
Salary is $80-90,000
What You'll Do:
Research, track, and resolve accounting issues. Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts. Manage credit cards, limits, coding, fraud, and payment. Report and process payment of sales and use taxes. Manage annual reports and property tax filing and payment. Assist with budget process. Document business transactions. Monitor compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures. Review, investigate, and correct errors in financial entries, documents, and reports. Upload and download financial data. Complete system-generated bank reconciliations Other duties as assigned. Who You Are:
5+ years' progressively responsible accounting or related work experience Bachelor's degree in accounting Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Enterprise's accounting system (formerly Microsoft AX) Demonstrated success in process improvement. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; very strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, large data manipulation, and macros. Experience with basic accounting principles, such as revenue, net revenue, direct costs, and matching. Ability to produce quality work while meeting challenging deadlines. Exceptional interpersonal skills Superior organization skills and attention to detail Expert time management skills with ability to quickly and gracefully adapt to a rapidly-changing environment; ability to perform multiple assignments with competing priorities, even without immediate supervision. Excellent quantitative and problem-solving skills
