Job Summary:

The position is a key point of contact for local and regional finance teams, providing the guidance, support, and direction to ensure consistent application of policies and procedures and US GAAP reporting requirements. This role involves internal interaction and collaboration with all domestic and international locations, as well as cross-functional groups including FP&A, tax, legal, HR and Treasury. This role may also involve relationship management with external parties when and where applicable (e.g. audit, legal or tax firms, other software providers, etc).

Responsibilities

Perform monthly financial close requirements for Consolidations team, including but not limited to the preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations.Perform system reconciliations to ensure trial balances are aligned between systems.Process the trial balance syncs and mapping requirements between systems.Support the monthly closing and facilitate the preparation and submission of consolidated financial information and reporting including but not limited to close checklist, roll forwards, and other ad hoc information as needed.Investigate material or unusual variances/fluctuations on the consolidated balance sheet and P&L and provides related explanations to management.Work to ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal policies and procedures in all areas but with a particular focus on ASC 842.Oversee the reconciliation of intercompany accounting transactions between subsidiaries, verifying and finalizing all intercompany balance sheet accounts and ensuring all eliminations are followed through timely and appropriately.Drive timely and accurate financial reporting throughout the organization.Support the Consolidation team effort in the budget and forecast processes.Assist in the preparation of cash flow statements and analysis.Support Consolidation team efforts in maintenance of Global Chart of Accounts files andsupporting documentation.Identify areas for improvement and suggest ways to improve efficiency around the closing and consolidation process.Support and collaborate with management on various projects and process improvement initiatives.Other duties as assigned.Travel:

Includes less than 5% of travel between company locations

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Strong knowledge of GAAP.Advanced level proficiency with Excel.Excellent communication skills required.Strong analytical skills.Self-motivated.Detail oriented.Position will work with all levels of management and personnel.Ability to perform conversions of international currencies.IT

Advanced proficiency in Excel and Windows applications is required.Direct experience with Oracle EPM (HFM, Planning, and/or Essbase) a preferredKnowledge of Dynamics 365, Oracle, Floqast, Workiva, Acumatica, Navision, and/or Dataworks a plusWork Environment:

5-7 years of experience across several functions within Finance (e.g., Consolidation, SEC Reporting, Technical Accounting, etc.).Education:

Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field is required, master's degree a plus.CPA or equivalent a plus; MBA a plus

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $120,000.00 and $135,000.00 per year and may include cost of living adjustments. The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
