As the Director of Trade Channel Marketing at Delta Faucet, you will play a key role in developing and implementing strategic marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth within the Trade channel. You will collaborate with key stakeholders, including sales teams, rep agencies, product teams, and other marketing partners, to ensure that marketing strategies are aligned with the broader objectives of Delta Faucet's business. This is a leadership role where your expertise will influence critical decisions and shape the direction of our trade marketing efforts.
Responsibilities:
Channel Strategy Development:
Lead the creation and execution of multi-brand marketing plans for Delta's portfolio of brands. You will drive revenue growth by ensuring that content, communications, events, and learning initiatives resonate with trade audiences and are tailored to specific market segments.National Account Marketing:
Work in close partnership with national sales teams and agencies to align marketing efforts with national account objectives. You'll monitor and assess the effectiveness of campaigns, using data-driven insights to measure success and make recommendations for future initiatives.Team Leadership and Development:
Inspire and lead a diverse team of five direct reports. You will foster an inclusive, collaborative environment that promotes high performance, clear communication, and ongoing professional development, ensuring your team thrives and grows.Budget and Campaign Management:
Oversee the channel marketing budget across various customers and segments, maximizing return on investment (ROI). You will manage end-to-end marketing campaigns across digital, print, and event platforms, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time and within scope.Product Alignment:
Act as a bridge between marketing and product teams by providing strategic insights on trade-specific needs. You'll influence product roadmap planning, pricing strategies, and volume targets to ensure offerings meet market demands.Promotional Strategy and Development:
Design and implement promotional strategies that drive brand and product engagement in the Trade channel. In partnership with the Omni-Retail team, you will ensure promotional consistency across all channels, helping to elevate the customer experience and reinforce brand messaging.
Qualifications:
Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.Experience:
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in marketing, with a proven track record in supporting national accounts and leading cross-functional teams. preferredChannel Marketing Expertise:
Strong understanding of channel marketing principles, strategies, and best practices.Promotional Experience:
Demonstrated success in managing and executing effective marketing promotions.Project Management Skills:
Exceptional ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Analytical Skills:
Strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.Sales Support Knowledge:
Familiarity with sales processes and experience in creating marketing materials that support sales efforts.Team Building:
