Program Manager- Implementation

Job Summary:

The Program Manager is responsible for managing large-scale portfolio programs aligned to strategic objectives that include multiple projects.

Medicaid Implementation is preferred.

Experience with Different workstreams (call center, clinical, claims, provider, etc.) in a Managed Care Organization

Essential Functions:Responsible for successful delivery of programEnsure program milestone deliverables are completed and approved at every stage of the program lifecycleAssist with the continuous improvement of program / project management best practices, processes, and toolsResponsible for ensuring program closure activities are completedLead stakeholders in the refinement of the program charterCollaborate with business owners and sponsor on the identification and assignment of business resourcesDevelop and maintain overall program schedule and WBS ensuring that all project schedules roll up appropriatelyCollaborate with IT point of contact on the identification and assignment of IT resourcesDevelop program resource plan including forecast of EPMO FTEs and contractorsEnsure compliance to EPMO Governance audit requirementsDevelop and maintain program budgetCapture and consolidate EPMO, IT and business estimates for the programAssess, manage, and control program scope, schedule, and budget change impactsWork closely with business executives to ensure assigned programs aligns with business strategy and are properly funded, resourced, and managedMaintain program stakeholder matrixDrive cross-functional communication between impacted business and IT areasWork with Talent Development and Communications to develop project communication and training plansAbility to mentor project managers and business analysts of all levelsFacilitate and drive Program Stakeholder meetingsRepresent program in governance meetingsReview and approved program meeting minutesProvide regular reporting and maintain ongoing communications to senior management, stakeholders and executive sponsorsTrack, compile and report program metrics and budgetAdvocate for and adhere to EPMO standards, tools and processesIdentify, log, and manage risk, implement mitigation strategies, contingency plans, and communicate/escalate to stakeholdersMaintain program RAIDIdentify, log, assign and resolve or escalate program issues, hindrances, and blockers using company best practicesResponsible for quality or program SharePoint site and program document repositoryProduce detailed reports, business decision documents, meeting minutes, and notification on assigned programDevelop program operations and support planPerform any other job duties as requestedEducation and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Business, Computer Science or related field or equivalent years of relevant work experience is requiredMaster's Degree in related field is preferredMinimum of five (5) years of project management experience is requiredCompetencies, Knowledge and Skills:

Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Teams, Outlook, etc.Experience working in project management software is requiredDemonstrates excellent analysis and reporting skillsExcellent decision making/problem solving skillsExceptional interpersonal and relationship building skillsExcellent critical listening and thinking skillsProven ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization of management within and externally to the organizationExcellent written and verbal communication skillsCustomer service orientedAbility to shape the approach to needed results and gain consensus of the approachAbility to proactively, effectively and efficiently lead a project team of 20+ core members and multiple vendorsExperience managing a project of up to $10M+ in budgetProven ability to prioritize work and team assignments to deliver projects on time, on budget, and meeting stakeholders expectationsDemonstrates a sense of urgencyDeep understanding of project management processes, techniques and tools, and development lifecycle (ideally Agile)Strong experience in the healthcare payer industry and knowledge of Medicaid and MedicareLicensure and Certification:

Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification/training is required; Program Management Certification (PgMP) is preferredWorking Conditions:

General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of timeHigh potential for remote workCompensation Range:$108,600.00 - $190,000.00CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate's education, training, and experience as well as the position's scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level.
