Primary Responsibilities:
As a Wealth Planner you will serve our clients with a range of financial planning services, which require the following responsibilities:Build strong, long-term client relationships. You will work with clients to analyze their current financial health, help set short/long-term financial goals, and design a realistic plan of action. You will proactively provide the following:Financial modelingClient investment managementIncome tax planning while working with the client's tax preparerEstate planning solutions and document summaries while working with client's estate attorneyCoordination of client meetings including materials, agenda, and post-meeting action item follow-upAnswers to clients' questions with superior service front-of-mind, always
Provide comprehensive financial advice: You will determine what level of financial plan and support is needed for each client and adjust their level of service accordinglyCommunicate: You must be a superior, proactive communicator who can adjust your message and style to the needs of our clients. You must have a disciplined approach to client follow-upBrand Ambassador: Enthusiastically advocate the values, ethics, and unique approach our company takes to personal financial planningBusiness Development: You will have the opportunity to close new clients using existing channels within Cerity Partners and to source new business using your own networkData Management: You must maintain all data in Salesforce and follow designated workflows and compliance proceduresOther duties as assignedIdeal Candidate Profile:
Bachelor's degree and/or CFP designation preferred - JD, CHFC, and EA a plus3+ years financial planning, estate planning and/or tax planning/preparation experienceDemonstrate strong and effective leadership skills through clear communication and collaboration with othersStrong interpersonal and networking skills with both external clients and internal collaborationWorking knowledge of e-Money, Orion, Eclipse, Salesforce, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook a strong plusAbility to listen and empathize with clients, spot, and analyze issues, and simplify/explain financial concepts to provide solutionsStrong attention to detail, exceptional problem-solving skills, and ability to organize and prioritize work in order to meet deadlines in a proactive manner with little supervision requiredAbility to independently engage, implement, and manage financial planning and investment process including all analysis without direct oversightStrategic thinking and a natural talent for networking, relationship management, client service, and investment knowledgeMust accept and thrive in a fast-paced, changing environmentAbility to build and maintain relationships with potential and current clientsCollaborate with colleagues to present to prospective clients and centers of influenceBusiness development experience a plusTenacious about doing what is right for the client - alwaysCompany Overview:
