Position HighlightsThe Manager, UAHS Scheduling position is responsible for managing and supporting the scheduling efforts for UAHS academic, administrative and the associated resources at the Phoenix campus. This individual is responsible for strategizing and implementing innovative campus-wide scheduling solutions and developing and maintaining policies, procedures, and documentation for UAHS campus scheduling. The Manager collaborates with campus leaders, colleges, and units to address issues and develop possible solutions that benefit the UAHS, UA Registrar and peer institutions.
This position is not eligible for fully remote work but may offer the opportunity for a flexible schedule.

click here .Duties & ResponsibilitiesResourceRequest Processing and Conflict Resolution:
Process space and resourcerequests, determining appropriateness based on factors such as session size,frequency, available rooms, and technical/AV needs. Schedule irregular andnon-standardized curricular meeting patterns for our health science schools.Identify and resolve conflicts with departments to ensure all requested classesand events are appropriately placed within available UAHS spaces.DataAnalysis and Collaboration:
Develop and maintain data reports to inform UAHS leadershipas they work to address significant short and long-term growth projectionsfor all UA and NAU health sciences colleges that rely in our shared spaces.Collaborate with campus leaders, colleges, and units to address accountmanagement, utilization reports, room changes, etc.SystemMaintenance:
Maintain the scheduling software as a system administrator,overseeing upgrades, beta testing, maintenance, bug reporting, andtroubleshooting. Maintain a robust and flexible system to handle a high volumeand variability of users. Manage UAHS Scheduling Website and associatedresources, including UI and UX design, continuous improvement, and generalmaintenance.Training,Support, and Continuous Learning:
Provide indirect supervision and in-depthtraining for UAHS academic coordinators and resource approvers. Develop andlead group, one-on-one, and virtual training sessions for users. Continuouslylearn deeper technical skills and engage in strategic system workflow analysis.Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesExcellentinterpersonal skills, mature judgment, and diplomacy,.Ability to handle complexrequests for room and event spaces under tight deadlines and demonstrateanalytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.Abilityto work independently and efficiently.High level of computer proficiency,including Microsoft Office applications and email/calendar software.Strong verbal and written communicationskills.Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor'sdegree AND minimum 3 yrs of related experience.OREquivalent combination ofeducation and work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Technology, Business, or EducationExperience providing operational support in a higher education environment.Experience problem solving and researching errors/issues; delivering recommendations and solutions.Experience with project management.Proficient technical skills in data management software applications (preferably Microsoft Power BI).Experience with Oracle PeopleSoft.Five years of progressively responsible information technology experience.
