The Digital Marketing Coordinator will primarily focus on website and social media management for digital and on-line platforms for Campus Recreation. This role serves a technical and strategic role in ensuring the digital experience engages diverse audiences. Candidates for this position should be digital savvy, a self-starter, an effective communicator, and organized. Verbal and written communication skills should be superior.

Duties & Responsibilities:Collaboratewith the entire department to keep web content current and accurateAssistwith web content changes and updates using Drupal Content ManagementSystem and generate user-friendly, compelling copyMaintainawareness of current website needs and anticipate and prepare for needsrelated to Campus Recreation's communication initiativesDevelopdigital content and social mediaDevelopoverall strategy to enhance digital presenceSupportthe digital content creation using the marketing request systemCollect,analyze, and present digital data as it relates to improving acquisitionand behaviorProvidemonthly analytics related to digital media content impactCreateeffective metrics and goals to measure growth, penetration, and impact ofcontent in identified audiences

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Strongorganizational, planning, and project management skills.Proficientwith Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)In-depthunderstanding of the digital ecosystem including web, email, social, andvideoDeepknowledge of how audiences consume content via digital distributionCreativeminded with an ability to uncover powerful ideas that generate newcontent.Inquisitivenatured to be able to effectively tell the Campus Rec story throughdigital mediaExcellentoral and written skills and ability to develop content for printpublications, websites, and social mediaProvenability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and managemultiple tasks.Abilityto reach and effectively communicate with a diverse audienceStronginterpersonal skills and ability work closely with the Outreach andMarketing team.Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through experience required.Up to 1 year of relevant work experience.Experiencewith HTML and with content management system (CMS) software.Abilityto work evenings and weekends to ensure presence at special events.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in related field

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite

Experience with Trellis, Marketing Cloud and Sprout Social
