Job Description

Wasserman is seeking a passionate and dynamic Manager to join The Collective, the company's dedicated women's impact and advisory practice. This role is pivotal in shaping and managing the research and insights function, overseeing social media channels, contributing to thought-leadership publications, and managing key internal and external communities. Key Responsibilities:

Research & Thought Leadership

* Assist in developing and managing research projects for The Collective, curating high-quality insights and data to drive impactful outcomes.* Analyze industry trends and data to inform strategy and provide actionable insights to clients, partners, and team members.* Collaborate with The Collective team to develop and contribute to thought-leadership articles, op-eds, blog posts, and newsletters.* Stay current on industry news, trends, and emerging topics to ensure The Collective's outputs remain relevant and forward-thinking.

Social Media and Website Management

* Create and implement social media plans that enhance The Collective's brand, thought leadership, and partnerships, while maintaining a consistent content schedule.* Monitor social media analytics to measure success and adjust strategies to maximize engagement and audience growth.* Ensure the website is regularly updated with fresh, relevant content reflecting The Collective's current initiatives, partnerships, and research.* Manage a comprehensive content calendar that organizes social media posts, website updates, partnerships, and key initiatives to ensure seamless coordination across platforms.

Community Management

* Assist in managing key internal and external communities, including The Collective Think Tank (a coalition of sport management professors) and The Collective Futures Cohort (a group of emerging leaders).* Support community engagement through activities that foster collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and growth.* Act as a liaison between The Collective and its industry partners, ensuring clear communication and successful execution of community activities.

Project & Workflow Management

* Oversee Asana management and project workflows to ensure seamless coordination across multiple workstreams.* Maintain content organization and storage management, keeping resources easily accessible and well-structured.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.* 3-5 years of experience in research, social media and content management, marketing, or community management, preferably within the sports, entertainment, or music industries.* Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.* Strong understanding of gender equity issues in sports, music, and entertainment, and a passion for advancing these causes.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in creating compelling content for various audiences.* Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

* Experience with research design and execution, data analysis, and report creation.* Proficiency in social media management tools and platforms.* Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana.
