JOB DESCRIPTION
Perform work, including but not limited to providing clerical support; providing administrative support; preparing and maintaining student records
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES BULLDOG
* Performs clerical duties. Arranges conferences and interviews; copies materials; distributes public information material; maintains files, forms, and records; maintains office supply inventory; orders office supplies; places maintenance calls; performs minor office equipment repairs; processes incoming mail and telephone calls; and transmits electronic messages* Performs administrative duties. Assists principals in routine matters; coordinates obtaining of substitute teachers; handles student transfers and transcript preparation; operates the call desk for computer/network trouble calls.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES CIS
* Assist CIS Executive Director and CIS Scool Based Support Staff with administrative task, includingcoordinating appropriate resources necessary to help students stay in school, graduate on time and achieve in life*
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
* Knowledge of office procedures and the operation of common office equipment and machines* Knowledge of county and school policies and procedures* Knowledge of handling all types of typing/keyboarding, routine correspondence and mail related tasks* Coordinating skills to organize written records and information, scheduling appointments and activities, and correspondence* Administrative skills to interpret policies and procedures* Communication skills to converse with students, staff and parents* Software/word processing skills to generate forms for data collection, calendars, newsletters, correspondence, agendas and spreadsheets
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of hearing, talking, and repetitive motions. While performing the responsibility of this job the employee is regularly expected to stand and walk and sometimes has to stoop, kneel, or crouch. Must be able to perform sedentary work exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
MINIMUM TRAINING/EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma through graduate degree
REPORTS TO: School Principal or Designee
