program manager
on the Partner Experience Innovation Center (PEIC) team, you will lead the planning, roadmap, communications, and stakeholder management of a complex, highly-integrated initiative, delivering measurable value to partners and to the business. You will work cross-functionally and with leaders to drive the program forward with rigor, structure, clarity, engagement and alignment. We are looking for strategic thinkers with a strong background in program management and strategy, with excellent communication skills, both verbally and written, who are passionate about delivering results and improving the partner experience.
As a program manager, you will…
Establish the initiative structure, governance, forums, workplan, communications plan and more.
Lead the initiative rhythm of business.
Be accountable for all stakeholder engagement activities and internal communication delivery, ensuring that stakeholders are informed and engaged, by strategically leveraging multiple channels and techniques, reaching diverse audiences from individual contributors to executives.
Synthesize messaging and storytelling to influence and deliver strategic priorities of a complex initiative.
Partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for deeper partnership, ways of working and collaboration.
Autonomously and appropriately apply knowledge, processes, skills, tools and techniques to project activities in order to drive work forward, meeting project and cross-program goals and deadlines.
Function effectively in a highly ambiguous environment with the flexibility to change course as required to respond to new situations.
Understand the Retail Partner Experience in order to deliver results for our retail partners and business.

A minimum of 5 years of proven strategic program leadership, with demonstrated skills and experience working on complex, large-scale transformational programs.
Demonstrated experience in establishing and leading the structure and rhythm of business for a large-scale initiative.
Demonstrated experience leading multiple complex programs, managing competing priorities, moving projects forward under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience building and executing large scale communications plans and stakeholder management.
Self-starter with strong sense of ownership and curiosity, and the ability to work both independently and inter-dependently with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to and aptitude for navigating large, ambiguous and matrixed organizations.

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
