As a business analysis manager within the Global Process Team of the Starbucks Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Capabilities Center, you will own the Anaplan G&A model with a focus on process and tool enhancements while also creating and driving standardized enterprise G&A headcount and expense planning processes.

As a business analysis manager, you will…

• Serve as the business process lead for the global G&A Anaplan model to drive enhanced tool effectiveness and improved partnership and usage through continuous improvement

• Lead the creation of global G&A processes to ensure consistent policies, procedures, and standards when appropriate across the enterprise

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and collaborate with internal business partners to determine technology and applications to support new processes and programs

• Proactively partner with Anaplan users to train, educate, and communicate on changes in policies, procedures, and tool functionality.

• Participate in the refinement of the Capabilities Center operating model and develop onboarding materials to ensure smooth transitions of G&A planning and forecasting responsibilities

• Progressive experience in financial analysis, modeling, budgeting and business planning 7 years

• Applicable industry experience 5 years

• Contributing to and leading cross-functional teams 5 years

• Making recommendations to and influencing decision makers 5 years

• Project management experience

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships

• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing

• Ability to effectively present information to senior leaders

• Ability to influence without authority vertically and horizontality throughout the organization and with cross- functional teams

• Ability to lead others

• Advanced Excel, statistical analysis and financial modeling skills

• Business analysis skills, with the ability to see implications and provide consultative solutions and recommendations

• Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and manage projects

• Ability to apply knowledge of multidisciplinary business principles and practices to achieve successful outcomes in cross-functional projects and activities

Preferred Experience:

• Hyperion Essbase, Anaplan

• Alteryx, PowerAutomate, and other automation tools

• PowerBI, Tableau

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.

If you live in the greater Seattle area, we offer a flexible workplace that allows for hybrid work. Partners can work remotely up to two days per week.

The pay range for this position may be narrower than that displayed, depending on where the work is performed.
