Neuberger Berman Business Technology is seeking a technically skilled, self-directed Product Manager with extensive financial services experience to support NB’s order management and front office systems (Aladdin, Perform, Verity…). You will be responsible for designing, documenting, and supporting comprehensive business solutions. The role involves hands-on collaboration with front office users to refine product designs and solution architectures, ensuring high-quality deliverables through partnerships with key vendors.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with project teams and various business and technology stakeholders to thoroughly understand business challenges and current processes
Engage directly with front office users to gather requirements and refine product designs
Work closely with our engineering team, requiring an understanding of the DevOps process
Manage key vendors, prioritize deliverables, and handle escalations
Lead solution design and create detailed documentation.
Oversee product development timelines and deliverables, ensuring alignment with project objectives
Support live platform teams by addressing inquiries and prioritizing issues and enhancements
Conduct ad-hoc analysis and present results in a clear and effective manner
Requirements:
8+ years of experience in business analysis, solution design, and product management
In-depth understanding of the software development process, solution architecture, and DevOps
Experience with Order Management Systems (Aladdin, Perform) and Research Management Systems (Verity, Everest) is essential
Strong financial data analysis skills and Asset Management or Financial Services experience is a must
Proficiency in SQL, Snowflake, Python, and exposure to GenAI in Asset Management is a plus
Compensation Details
The salary range for this role is $130,000-$170,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York City. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), life insurance and other benefits to eligible employees.
Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
