The Role:
As the Senior Business Analyst, reporting to the SVP General Counsel & Chief Sustainability Officer, you will oversee the financial and operational health of supported functions. This role is integral to managing budgets, timelines, and resources across various teams while ensuring clear and effective communication with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess both financial and analytical expertise, coupled with a genuine curiosity to understand business processes and systems, enabling them to drive impactful decision-making for key stakeholders.
How You Will Make an Impact:
Budgeting, Forecasting, and Variance AnalysisOwn and manage budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses for assigned functions.Conduct "deep dives" to identify causes of variances, taking action to address and resolve discrepancies.Function-Specific Analysis
Perform financial and process analyses, proactively identifying areas for improvement, supporting positive change and improved efficiency and cost within functions.Collaborate with functional owners and provide insights on financial performance, identifying variances, and preparing monthly reports for department managers.Work closely with Finance and Procurement to ensure proper classification of capital and operational expenditures.Assist with cost-benefit and TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) analyses on key software and service.Direct the year-end budgeting cycle for both OPEX and CAPEX spending,Tracking of cost reductions and cost increases to the functional budgetOversee project financials and ensure alignment and compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and internal controls.Creating Extraordinary Starts With:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, information technology, engineering or related field and at least 5 years of related job experience.Experience with ERP software and the Microsoft Office software suite of products. SAP strongly preferredSolid understanding of budgeting and forecasting on a regular and/or project basis (OPEX & CAPEX)Experience with project management software, such as Asana, preferredWhat We Value:
