ELECTRICAL SUPERINTENDENT

POSITION SUMMARY

Okland is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Electrical Superintendent to oversee our high-tech construction projects with a strong focus on electrical systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing electrical installations and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Supervise and coordinate all electrical work on construction sites, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards.Manage and lead electrical subcontractors and personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow.Review and interpret electrical plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate and timely execution of work.Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.Ensure all electrical installations meet local, state, and federal codes and regulations.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with overall project goals.Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to safety protocols.Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily reports, schedules, and material usage.QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical construction, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.Proficiency in project management software and tools.Commitment to safety and quality standards.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS

Extensive knowledge of construction and maintenance practices, procedures, and applicable local, state, and federal building codes.Proficiency in skilled construction, maintenance, and repair tasks.Advanced understanding of construction scheduling and cost control.Ability to interact and communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and employees at all levels.Ability to effectively lead and manage teams.Thorough and attentive to details; extremely organized and able to prioritize and multitask.Ability to proactively plan for risks to meet or exceed deadlines.Ability to solve practical problems and work with limited standardization.Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in the workplace.Strong computer skills; proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook.

The employee is also required to frequently inspect the project and will be exposed to ongoing construction and various weather conditions, including rain, sleet, snow, wind, and heat. The noise level in the work environment may range from moderate to loud. Will likely be required to operate a rough terrain forklift, and will spend long hours on their feet on uneven surfaces.
