Job Summary
This position will manage various fleet and site project control functions, supporting the Director of Fleet Projects, Site Manager of Projects, and Site Project Managers. The individual will work closely with Project Managers to develop and maintain project budgets, monitor expenditures, and track variances against budgeted costs.
Duties include support of the Site Long Range Plan (LRP), oversee project control tools and software, provide estimates, prepare and analyze financial reports, ensure compliance with organizational guidelines, and coordinate payments to subcontractors and vendors.

Accountabilities
Responsible for monitoring and reporting of project financial performance at the site utilizing key performance indicators (KPIs).
Conduct cost estimation and budgeting for projects, considering all financial inputs (materials, labor, equipment, vendors, suppliers, etc.).
Create and update monthly forecast for capital spending for the year.
Responsible for assisting in the development of the yearly VISTRA Long Range Plan (LRP).
Ensure consistent work practices and sharing of knowledge to optimize efforts in project control activities.
Ensure business financial goals are achieved on a monthly basis.
Manage processes and procedures related to project schedule, cost, and risk management
Support development and execution of comprehensive project plans, ensuring alignment with site and key stakeholder requirements.
Identify, assess, and mitigate project financial risks, ensuring proactive measures are in place to address potential challenges.Conduct regular risk assessments and collaborate with the site and fleet teams to develop risk mitigation strategies.

, Experience & Skill Requirements
Skills and Knowledge
Technical Expertise: Analytical and mathematical skills to accurately assess project budgets and spending.
Knowledge of Project Controls processes and guidelines.
General understanding of nuclear operation, practices and processes.
Collaborative: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with projects staff and present cost estimates clearly and persuasively.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products especially Excel.
Knowledgeable in SAP enterprise software(preferred)
Education
High school diploma or equivalent.
BS in Engineering, BA in Business or Construction Management (recommended).
On the job Experience
5+ years in a combined finance, construction or project controls roll that includes budgeting, scheduling, project support or project management
Professional Certifications
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. (ideal)
