Years of experience REQ: Minimum 2 years' experience required. Weekend REQ: Will work every other weekend Is on-call REQ? No. Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes – will float to other Medical Surgical units Open to accommodating block schedule? Will try but not guaranteed. Locals accepted: Yes- no radius. Pending License accepted: No- must have active IL license to apply. RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days. Guaranteed Hours: Client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen week assignment without paying for the cancelled hours. Special Requirements: Required Work Setting Experience: MS/Tele, Med/Surg. Job Requirements Minimum 2 years' experience in medical/surgical nursing. First-timers accepted: Yes - Want to see they have a solid foundation as an RN if they are new to travel. Schedule Information Shift: Nights (1845-0715) Average Daily Census: 23. 25 bed unit. Will work every other weekend Unit Specific Information Average Daily Census: 23. 25 bed unit. Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response Skills/Experience: Telemetry- remote monitoring, Use of Rapid Response Teams. Required Genitourinary/Renal Case Skills/Experience: Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure. Required IV therapy/Phlebotomy Skills/Experience: Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting IVs. Required Medication Skills/Experience: Heparin. Required Respiratory Case Skills/Experience: Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac, CPAP/BiPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oral suctioning, Portable Oxygen tank. Required Professional Knowledge and Skills: Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac. Cerner experience required. Additional Details Required based on unit/specialty. Must be AHA (RQI acceptable). Required if candidate is requesting a Religious Exemption from flu vaccine. Physical within a year of start, and updated annually. 9-Panel drug screen required within 30 days of start (instant acceptable).
