Job Summary:
The Marketing Specialist supports the overall goals of TVFCU by working closely with Commercial & Business Services to ensure that they have the marketing support needed to reach their goals. Responsible for assisting with growth of the Roper & VW Branch by running continuous marketing campaigns designed just for employees and ensuring that TVFCU takes advantage of every opportunity to interact with their employees. This includes all new hire training sessions and employee events.
Job Description:Coordinate Commercial & Business Services marketing, PR & media outreach/appearances, including overseeing the Idea Leap Grant events and promotions to maximize impact for the community and Business Services.Coordinate TVFCU participation, displays, materials and promotional items for business events, expos & trade shows.Coordinate golf and community event attendance for Business Services.Coordinate Chamber involvement of Business Services staff and schedule a Business Lending Chamber event in each county, each calendar year.Create, launch and monitor results of email campaigns to business members. Report monthly results.Create blogs, social media posts, podcasts, videos and other content on topics of interest to small businesses.Create periodic newsletter content and monthly statement messages targeted to business members.Responsible for content creation, updating and ongoing review of Business Services portion of the website.Meet with Roper Corporation, VW & TVIA representatives. Facilitate communications and materials for in-branch staff. Staff events in coordination with branch employees.Serve as liaison to area Chambers of Commerce (Northwest GA Region); ensure we are taking advantage of all chamber membership opportunities and encourage attendance of local branch managers, Business Services employees, and TVIA representatives.Maintain knowledge of branch operations by completing Deposit Regulation and Product and Service Certification courses.Proactively demonstrate the TVFCU core values of integrity, honesty, flexibility, teamwork, leadership, accountability and strong relationships in every interaction with members.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications
Qualifications:
Ability to work flexible hours to include early mornings, late evenings and weekends, with ability to work a combination of 2-3 nighttime, early morning and or weekend events per week.Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or Event Production from a four-year institution or pursuing a degree with a minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in a marketing or event coordination role, tradeshow planning and/or association/non-profit community management.Working knowledge of graphic design principles, retail merchandising and online marketing process/implementation a plus.Prior experience with Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Experience with Kadince, G Suite (Gmail, Google Docs, and Drive), WordPress and Adobe products a plus.Market research experienceStrong communication skills both verbal and written. Conversational Spanish is a plus.Strong listening and interpersonal skills.Strong project and leadership skills to include written event plan, department communication, scheduling, execution, performance/monitoring, and project close.Demonstrated abilities to develop and maintain effective, positive working relationships within and outside of TVFCU.Exceptional organizational abilities, including the ability to coordinate a number of activities in a fast-paced and challenging environment with limited supervision.Willingness to do manual labor and work alone when setting up and taking down table displays and/or TVFCU backdrop at events.Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities and new challenges.Positive attitude and willingness to learn.Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills.Excellent strategic thinking and critical reasoning skills.Commitment to improving the processes that you manage.Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable under the company's driving insurance policy to drive a company vehicle to events.Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.Ability to lift and move up to (50) lbs.Ability to work outdoor events in all types of weather.If you are considered for an offer of employment at TVFCU, you must successfully complete a pre-employment screen that includes:
