Develops business strategies to promote Sierra Aluminum capabilities and ROI.Serves as a liaison between the Customer, Sales, and Operations.Continuously identifying prospects and generating leads to closing and winning new business.Actively seeks new business from current customers (wallet share) as well as potential new customers.Speaks to customers about developments and events (e.g., new / discontinuing products, increases or decreases in manufacturing activity, etc.) that could impact our business and share this information with the sales team.Establish and maintain good day-to-day working relationships with customer contacts.Makes physical sales calls as necessary to promote rapport with prospects and customers.Create an environment in which people are motivated to do their best work; recognizes examples of exceptional team results.Share information and viewpoints openly and directly with others, both written and verbal.Provide training where and when necessary, based on developments.Display a good understanding of key aspects of the organization's mission and strategies; can convey this information so that it is relatable to direct reports.Collect and understand important data used for financial metrics drawing accurate conclusions from information; makes sound decisions regarding expenditures.Support individuals and teams through change.Establish and maintain a high-quality work force through recruiting, hiring, training, evaluating, and ensuring accountability to enable the Samuel culture.Actively participate in continuous improvement activities and company-wide strategic planning and implementation.Provide leadership in the upholding of Samuel Policies and Values.Ensure priorities of Safety, Quality, and Productivity are maintained at the forefront of all activities.Develop the manufacturing plan and establish procedures for maintaining high standards of manufacturing operations to ensure that products conform to established customer and company quality standards.Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree preferred.Qualifications:
5+ years' experience in operations/manufacturing management or similar management experience.5+ years of experience in Sales as it relates to aluminum extrusions and fabricationDemonstrated outstanding troubleshooting, analytical and technical ability.Fabrication equipment and print and literate.Excellent interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills.Ability to thrive in a fast paced and changing environment.Foundry and or extrusion experience preferred.
This position will be a Remote Work Model and candidates can reside anywhere within the United States of America.
The annual base salary range for this position is $83,200 to $124,800 plus a commission target of 20% of base salary. If you are hired, your annual base pay will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base pay range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued wage growth. Commission earnings are dependent on sales performance and are not guaranteed.

Sierra Aluminum is a vertically integrated aluminum extrusion mill providing standard, custom and OEM aluminum products that range from basic mill finished extrusions all the way to finished, fabricated shapes. With in-house value added services such as anodizing, painting, thermal improvement, fabrication and specialized packaging, we ensure consistent quality products delivered on time.
