Job Summary:
The Marketing Coordinator supports business development efforts in P&M and across the company by acting as a resource to participants in these initiatives. He/she also performs daily marketing & communications administration duties including, independently and collaboratively assisting with internal communications and external marketing efforts. Conduct work activities in accordance with company's core values, and established processes and procedures.
Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in one of the following:
MarketingBusiness AdministrationArtGraphic DesignCommunicationsOr related degree with relevant experience
Proficiency in Adobe InDesign/ PhotoshopDocumented Experience in Professional WritingJob Functions:
Coordinate and assist in the planning and development of business development content, including brochures, presentations, pamphlets, etc.. This role may involve conducting secondary market research.Support and assist the logistics planning and execution for business development events such as tradeshows.Manage the distribution of weekly business leadsProactively support the company in all activities to improve the Salas O'Brien brand and customer opinion of Salas O'Brien.Maintain and leverage a good working knowledge of the industry and of Salas O'Brien's product / services.Proactively applies the brand standards, ensuring the brand is consistent on all related materials and applications.Curate and compile relevant business unit headlines, events, resources, awards, and newsworthy articles, etc. for internal communications.Manage business unit promotional items inventory, including approvals, ordering and distribution, including business cards.Manages Token Program approvals.Proactively track and maintain business-unit specific marketing data (team, case studies, tasks, events, trade shows, promotional item inventory, awards, etc...)Maintains and updates branded templates; ensuring templates are current, user-friendly, and intuitive for all users.Supports proposal development by creating, coordinating and maintaining resumes, case studies, and organizational charts for proposals.Contributes to the development of the calendar and content for the internal newsletter, SharePoint site, and additional email communications. Supports developing and sharing newsworthy business unit-related content with Salas O'Brien services marketing team, as directed.Contribute to the development, improvement, and documentation of current business unit-related marketing processes and procedures in the best practices manual.Support and assist the logistics planning and execution for internal events, including large TechCon and employee events.Regular and timely generation of effective, relevant, content to support internal and external marketing communications, including resumes, case studies, and presentations.Create and modify basic document design layouts using branded templates in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Express, and Microsoft Office products to produce visually appealing marketing materials, including resumes, case studies, presentations, etc..., ensuring brand consistency and adherence to project deadlines.Support and/or promote decisions at appropriate level to implement Salas O'Brien business plan objectives and represent P&M in executing marketing initiatives in support of Salas O'Brien Marketing activities.Examples of decision-making authority include:
Sharing key insights from meetings that inform the larger marketing group.Proposing process enhancements to foster collaboration and improve efficiency.Prioritizing daily tasks under established guidelines, seeking guidance as needed.Analyzing information to inform the manager's strategic decisions regarding goals and initiatives.Be accountable for an ethical and professional approach with management, staff and clients. Adherence to Character Ethics and the company's ownership values is required.You will be a great fit if you:
Can prioritize, have strong time management skills, project ownership, and be proficient in managing multiple priorities.
