2 years' experience in a hotel House Person or Housekeeping roleMove, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistanceOrganizational skills and attention to detailA can-do attitude and a hands-on approachPersonable demeanor and ability to deliver memory-making hospitable serviceExcellent time management and communication skillsAbility to communicate effectivelyProfessional demeanor, polished appearance with the ability to exceed guest's expectationsAbility to work in an ever-changing environmentAbility to work both independently and in a team environmentStrong work ethic and client-focused approachAbility to work a flexible schedule including nights, overnights, weekends, and holidaysMust be passionate and dedicated to successESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Patrol outdoors as well as room hallways and activity areas, such as the pool and spaPatrol and monitor premises to secure guest safety, prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rulesCleans rugs, carpets and upholstered furniture using a vacuum cleaner, broom and carpet shampoo machineCleans rooms, hallways and restroomsWashes walls and ceiling, moves furniture's and turn mattressSweeps, mops, scrubs, waxes and polishes floorDusts and polishes metalworkCollects soiled linen for launderingReceived linen supplies from floor shootsRemoves trash collected by room attendantsWalk all assigned floors at beginning and end of shift to collect Newspaper bags, newspapers, trash, solid linenPickup clean linen and refill the par stock of linen on each floor pantryDeliver towels, cribs, cots and other items to the guest rooms on requestsPerform duties of room attendant when necessarySort linen, stock room attendant closetsRefill the par stock of guest amenities and supplies on each floor pantryHelp the room attendants with the heavy lifting when super cleaning / spring cleaning of roomsClean all public areas in the prescribed manner while following department standard operating proceduresRemove soiled linen and trash from the pool side and other service area and take to appropriate locations in the prescribed mannerAssist room attendants with placing bed boards, roll-ways beds, extra bed etc.Report missing / found articles, damage or merchandise problems to the housekeeping supervisorsRespond at all times in a friendly, helpful manner to guests and other colleaguesTake up any tasks assigned by the supervisors as and when neededMust be able to work independently and as a team playerCommunicate any guest problems and complaints to ManagementWork ethicallyPerforms other duties and responsibilities as per business needBenefits:
