Quality and Improvement ManagerKingsville, TXAs the Quality and Improvement Manager you will set the highest standards of compliance to the Rolls-Royce Quality Management System (RRMS) for self, Quality Staff, and the unit. You will drive continuous improvement, develop and deliver training, and build strong customer relationships. As the team lead you will focus on robust non-conformance identification and corrective/preventative action plans as well as coach and mentor Lean Six Sigma methodology and ensure processes and procedures comply with Customer requirements.Innovate & Power the World

Key Accountabilities:Set the highest standards of compliance to the Rolls-Royce Quality Management System (RRMS) for self, Quality Staff, and the UnitEnsure processes and procedures comply with all customer specific contractual requirementsExecute an audit strategy that confirms compliance and supports continuous improvementBuild strong, dependable relations with Customers, regulators, industry and the other business functionsLead the Quality/Inspection team with a focus on robust non-conformance identification, and corrective/preventative action plansInfluence internal and external stakeholders to ensure product quality. Install effective governance structures where appropriateDevelop and deliver effective training for the site, including sustaining awareness of quality issues across all employees and leadershipDrive continuous improvement plan utilizing the principals of the Lean and DMAIC methodologies transforming performance to world class levelsCoach and mentor the Lean Six Sigma Methodology to deliver significant financial benefits through Yellow Belt, Green Belt and Black Belt projectsImplement and drive the Rolls-Royce Production System in line with functional accountabilitiesSponsor improvement projects, implement the problem resolution process and champion best quality practices
Basic Qualifications:Associate's degree + 7 years of experience - ORBachelor's degree + 5 years of experience - ORMaster's degree + 3 years of experience - ORJD/PhD - OR9 years of experience in lieu of a degreeFamiliarity with NAMP 4790 requirementsFamiliarity with Quality Management SystemsExperience working Quality in a manufacturing or MRO environmentLogical thinking skills/problem solvingGood Communication skillsTo be considered for this position you must be a US citizenPreferred Qualifications:Quality Leadership ExperienceJet Engine Overhaul/Repair experienceCertified AuditorExcellent problem solving/analytical skillsExcellent data management and analyticsExcellent Communication skillsPioneer
