The

Data Analyst

(Supply Chain) has operational and technical responsibilities within Premier Supply Chain. He/she is responsible for ensuring data management processes for contract and price management as well as ensuring the materials management information system (MMIS) item master is accurate and continually improved. He/she works with purchasing and accounts payable to resolve invoice-matching issues. He/she works with outside partners to ensure appropriate data flow to and from MMIS system. He/she manages item inactivation and vendor mergers within the MMIS and support end-user issue resolution through Premier Health’s electronic ticketing process. He/she will provide testing support to ERP staff during MSPs, ESPs, CTPs and works with technical staff and end-users in defining testing plans and scope of testing including possible impacts to business processes and other applications. He/she educates end-users in the Lawson Procurement suite of products including Requisition Center, Purchase Order, and Matching.

Essential Duties & Functions:

1. Maintains Accurate Contract and Price Information and Consignment Agreement Adds and Changes.

2. Ensures Materials Management Information System (MMIS) Item Master Is Accurate and Continually Improved.

3. Works with Purchasing and Accounts Payable to Resolve Invoice-Matching Issues.

4. Works with Outside Partners to Ensure Appropriate Data Flow to And from MMIS System.

5. Manages Item Inactivation’s and Vendor Mergers Within the MMIS

6. Provides End User Support for Functional and Technical Issues with Lawson Through Premier Health’s Electronic Ticketing Process.

7. Coordinates Bulk Buys

8. Reviews Department Standard Operating Procedures and Keeps Documents Updated.

9. Analyzes and Continually Works on Improving Procurement Business Processes and Recommends Improvements to End-Users and Department Management. Identifies Ways in Which Systems Can Be Utilized to Improve Effectiveness and Provide New Services.
