is seeking a full time
Enterprise Architect IV
to support a government client as an integral member of the Enterprise Architecture Program Office (EAPO). The program supports the client with ITAM expertise and discovery tools integration support for the Systems of Record (ServiceNow).
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide guidance to solution teams building integration & data capabilities to ensure alignment to enterprise reference architecture
Create enterprise and solution scoped integration & data reference architecture for enterprise and solution architects across the organization
Design of a future state architecture that includes business services to be provided, technologies to be employed in delivering those services, a projection of business value, reduced technical risk and service cost, and enhanced organizational alignment
Development of gap analysis and closure plans, including analysis of the gaps between the as-is and to-be states and a plan of action necessary to close the gaps, prioritized based upon business value and dependencies
Clearly communicate the value associated with adhering to the integration & data strategy and corresponding integration & data architecture standards.
Assess/diagnose problems and requirements for work, identify root causes of technical problems, and recommend solutions
Ensure seamless governance is applied to engineering teams who are building technology capabilities related to integration & data technical capabilities.
Document as-is and to-be states, develop gap analysis and closure plans, including analysis of the gaps and a plan of action
Experience architecting and integrating with both on premise and cloud and SaaS technology solutions
Continually evaluate the portfolio of applications within the solution architect's business domain and work in collaboration with IT team and DOES's partners in developing system lifecycle refresh plans and roadmaps
Ability to serve as technical leader and team player
Perform risk analyses including risk assessments for the client's current environment
Assess the operational and functional baseline of the organization and its organizational components
Help to define the direction and strategy for an engagement while ensuring the organizational needs are being addressed
Responsible for design, configuration, and operation of ServiceNow interfaces/integrations with current discovery tools, security tools, and other stakeholder systems and tools
Develop, test, and coordinate systems integrations and process automation with the ServiceNow Platform development team
Document the technical requirements/as-built documentation, manuals, policies, and processes
Coordinate application and platform upgrades
Understand how ServiceNow can enable client to become more efficient and coordinate the configuration of the platform to achieve measurable benefits
Required Skills/Certifications:
Continually evaluate the portfolio of applications within the solution architect's business domain and work in collaboration with IT team and DOES's partners in developing system lifecycle refresh plans and roadmaps
Strong knowledge of advances in tools and techniques in platforms, Hardware and software including SaaS, cloud computing, and systems architect
ServiceNow Service Administration and experience with operational knowledge of technical tool integration with existing tools
Ability to understand customer requirements and their impact on technical directions of a solution
Ability to maintain professionalism and react to customers appropriately, while exhibiting the highest level of customer service
Ability to work independently and as a team member in a fast-paced development process
Excellent analytical and organizational skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to develop, document, and ensure adherence to technical standards
Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to sustain your own project work independently in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
Desired Skills
Experience with API integrations using security and operational tools (ServiceNow...)
Experience with workflows and large data connections/transfers between API channels
ServiceNow Service Management tool technical implementation and integration with Asset Management and Security Management tools
Agile methodologies
Desired Education/Years of Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Management, or Software Engineering
At a minimum, possess a major EA framework certification (FEAF, TOGAF, etc.)
8+ years of relevant experience
