Claims Case Manager & Liability Adjuster

Terms of EmploymentW2 Contract, 6 monthsThis position is onsite in Mays Landing, NJ.Candidates must be local to Southern NJ in order to respond to events in a timely manner.OverviewOur client is in need of two (2) Claims Case Manager & Liability Adjusters to handle field investigations of liability, personal injury, auto accidents, property damage, fire, electric contact, electrocution, and environmental claims. The role involves meeting with customers/claimants, interviewing witnesses, adjusting claims, and developing settlement strategies. Additionally, the job includes supporting site inspections, cooperating with the legal department, and potentially testifying in court.ResponsibilitiesPerform and coordinate field investigation of various claims.Meet with customers, witnesses, etc. to obtain facts.Adjust claims, evaluate damages, and develop settlement strategies.Support site inspections and cooperate with the legal department.Coordinate with internal partners to investigate potential liability and assess risk.Provide 24/7 on-call emergency response.Provide educational services to internal and external constituencies.Required Skills & ExperienceBachelor's degree in a Business or related field and 2-4 years relevant claims, insurance, investigation, or related utility experience, OR a minimum of 3-6 years of relevant experience.Strong knowledge of Property and Casualty Claims.Superior investigative skills.Effective interpersonal skills.Detail oriented to thoroughly and accurately document the claim and investigation.Preferred Skills & Experience5 to 7 years relevant claims, insurance and/or utility experience.
