Project team member responsible for: (1) coordinating a team of architects, designers, consultants, contractors, and owners through all stages of facility construction projects (2) providing project oversite using knowledge of general design and construction principles and practices to interpret, organize, coordinate, communicate and execute assignments as necessary to accomplish the goals and objectives defined by the client, (2) ensuring work is performed and completed in strict accordance with the contract documents, (3) acting as a technical advisor to the Owner and other team members, (4) teaching and mentoring less experienced engineers and other team members, and (5) other tasks as may be required.Responsible for delivering for assigned projects including scope, schedule and budget.Essential functions and responsibilitiesDevelop Project Management Plans (PMP) for assigned projectsProvide project management oversight during all phases of the projectPrepare, monitor and update schedules and budgetsPrepare and update cost estimatesDevelop and implement project specific QA programsManage sub-consultants and technical resourcesCoordinate and interface with the client and project teamReview bid packages and assist with procurementDevelop and coordinate project scopesOversee and manage assigned staffDevelop and prepare extra work order requests and open-end contract task proposalsReview all design and construction submittalsReview and approve design team and contractor invoicingParticipate in client presentationsCoordinate and assist Section Heads, Office Leads, and Practice Leaders with marketing proposalsLead and manage team members by providing leadership and continuous performance management (setting expectations, goals, feedback, 1:1 meeting, coaching) that supports the growth and development of team

Required Skills
Strong in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Strong written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational and time management skillsStrong work ethic. Willing to do what it takes to get the job done
Required Experience
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, architectural or a related field from an accredited engineering, construction management or architectural program5+ years' experience in a construction related discipline
Preferred ExperienceProfessional Engineer LicenseCCM or PMP certificateLEED APOSHA CertificationsExperience working with city, county state or federal governmental agenciesProject management and business development experienceExperience with various project delivery methods i.e. Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, Construction Manager at Risk and P3Experience managing multidiscipline project teams
Working ConditionsWork is performed in both an office and field (construction) environment. Office to field time is approximately 25% to 75% respectively. Field work requires climbing, walking and standing at a construction site and may be outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.
