These include planning and construction, facilities, public safety and emergency operations, environmental health and safety, transportation, housing, and auxiliary/retail operations.Posting SummaryRutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Custodian Group Leader- Housing for the Division of Institutional Planning & Operations (IP&O).The position leads, oversees, and trains a small group of custodians in the performance of routine custodial duties and basic maintenance and repair of related University facilities and equipment.Among the key duties of this position are the following:

May assume responsibility for a building, a group of buildings, or a campus sector.May assume responsibility for maintaining inventories, work orders and other written forms.Performs all duties of a Custodian as required.

Minimum Education and Experience

Two years experience in custodial work.

Certifications/Licenses

Valid driver's license, two years driving experience, and the successful completion of the Rutgers Defensive Driving Course.

Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and read, write and speak English.
