About the role: Traveling Project Foreman Description/Job Summary
The Superintendent is responsible for coordinating preservation/restoration efforts and administrative duties on the jobsite in support of the Project Manager (PM). The Superintendent supports the PM in managing the flow of information between the field, office, management, subcontractors, and the client to ensure that components and systems are incorporated in accordance with the contract. The Superintendent supports the PM, oversees the assigned scopes of work, and directs the field staff to ensure a high-quality finished project that is on time and under budget. The Durable Restoration Company is looking for a superintendent who is open to travel as we work all over the country.
Responsibilities/Duties
Project Execution:Assists in planning and maintaining job site logistics and conditions.Ensures safety protocols are in place and followed.Maintains daily site documents including JHA's, AHA's, and Daily LogsMaintains job progress photos.Coordinates with the PM to ensure adequate field personnel are scheduled and on-site to complete scopes of work efficiently.Works with PM on developing, monitoring, updating and maintaining the project schedule.Maintains a clear and concise understanding of scopes of work under contract and ensures any additional work is approved before proceeding.Coordinates with PM and Project Engineer (PE) to ensure approved products and means and methods are accurately followed.Oversees scheduling, safety, documentation, and quality of work of subcontractors.Ensures changes to project files, plans, specifications, and as-built documents are transmitted to PE.Ensures job costs are kept to a minimum and accurately accounted for.This position would be based from either Columbus, OH or Savage, MD and traveling to job sites around the country is required.Communication:
Supports the PM in establishing and maintaining relationships with Owner's representatives, design professionals, subcontractors, and suppliers.Acts as a liaison between jobsite trades, subcontractors, and the PMAssists the PM and PE in managing and maintaining project-specific information systems.Assists the PM in communication of schedule revisions to all parties, as appropriateWhat You'll Bring
Educational Background
Degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or other related major preferred. Equivalent experience is also welcome.Minimum Years and Type of Experience
3+ years of construction experience (preferred)Necessary Knowledge and Skills

Proficiency in using ProcoreProficiency in using Microsoft 365 - Outlook, Work, Excel, Project and other web-based tools and systemsProficiency in using AutoCAD or equivalent drafting software is a plusWhat we Offer
Competitive pay based on experience, hourly rate negotiable $25-40/hour, based on experience.Paid in house and on the job training.Paid safety and OSHA compliance training.Uncapped over time and work through the winter.Health, Vision, Dental Insurance and 401(k) after 90 days.Quarterly bonuses for perfect attendance, Saturdays worked and days worked out of town.Promotions based on performance, not tenure.Paid vacation and holidaysPaid travel time, hotel and per diem providedCompany cell phone and company truck for our Foreman.
