AIX Systems Administrator

Job Description ASRC Federal Data Solutions, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking an AIX Systems Administrator to supportour NOAA programs on site in Silver Spring, Maryland. This role is 100% on site at the Sliver Spring NOAA facility and is metro accessible. Key Role: Serve as a team lead. Use your demonstrated expertise to AIX systems running Power 9 and RHEL Systems on v7/8/9. Develop strategies required to move from AIX to Linux RHEL. Manage the Project to provide solutions to migrate Linux to AIX and implement the solution and provide overall support to the program and team. Prioritize tasks and identify bottlenecks in the environment. Evaluate tools and deploy in working environment. Identify migration path from AIX to RHEL Requirements Required Qualifications: 12 years of experience with planning, designing, and installing virtual machines AIX Administration Certification required Demonstrated expert level knowledge of Ansible and Satellite Hardware/software/storage within an Enterprise data cente Expert level knowledge on Ansible and managing of Linux and AIX environments VMWare ESXi US Citizenship to meet government access requirements Desired Qualifications: Red Hat Certified Engineer EEO Statement ASRC Federal and its Subsidiaries are Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employers.
