ASRC Federal Data Solutions, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking
Linux Systems Administrators
at themid, senior and subject matter expert level
to supportour NOAA programs on site in Silver Spring, Maryland.
These roles are 100% on site position.
Key Role:
Provide support for Linux systems running on Red Hat enterprise Linux. Troubleshoot, patch, back up / restore VM's, deploying new VM's and work with application teams on Middleware support.
Task Description:
Maintain stable Linux environmentPatch servers monthly or on as needed basis for vulnerabilitiesUse Ansible tower to manage and maintain the Linux environmentWrite Ansible scripts to optimize SA workManage Puppet in providing compliance of the Linux environmentManage and maintain Satellite server and its repositories and the devices that pull down the reposManage Red Hat Identity Management servers and managerCertificate and PKI infrastructureProficient in VMWare Esxi infrastructure and knowledge on deploying VM'sConfigure and install virtual desktop infrastructure and Enterprise backup solutions.Tune system utilizations for memory, processes, and network performance.Requirements

Subject Matter Expert level:
12+ years of experience with planning, designing, and installing virtualMust have Red Hat Certified Engineer - RHCE certificationHardware/software/storage within an Enterprise data centerShould have expert level knowledge on Ansible and managing of Linux environmentRed Hat Identity Management,Red Hat PKI infrastructure Management andVMWare ESXiSenior Level:
8 - 12 years of experience with planning, designing, and installing virtual hardware/software/storage within an Enterprise data centerRed Hat Certified System administrator - RHCSAShould have expert level knowledge on Ansible and managing of Linux environmentRed Hat Identity Management,Red Hat PKI infrastructure Management,VMWare ESXiMid Level Linux Systems Admin:
4-8 years of experience with planning, designing, and installing virtual hardware/software within an Enterprise datacenterShould have a minimum level knowledge on Ansible and managing of Linux environmentRed Hat Identity Management,Red Hat PKI infrastructure Management,VMWare ESXi
