About the Role
Impact you will make
The Data Engineer is responsible and accountable for the inbound support of customer applications designed to meet the needs of each customer's specific FinThrive solutions. Responsibilities include collaborating and interacting with multiple teams both domestically and globally. The team's goal is to provide a best-in-class support experience while delivering on agreed levels of service to our customers.
What you will do
Ensure the successful processing of customer data files utilizing strong technical and analytical skills.
Understand and analyze customers inbound data files.
Troubleshoot issues and communicate with customers directly.
Facilitate technical issue resolution in a collaborative team approach involving development, product management and onboarding as appropriate.
Establish priorities and manage multiple critical paths concurrently.
Maintain commitment to high customer satisfaction through the duration of the customer relationship.
What you will bring
2+ years' experience with a healthcare technology vendor or healthcare provider
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a remote environment
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work independently in a face-paced, high-volume environment
Strong understanding of SQL for data querying, analysis, and script development
Strong understanding of relational DB structures - ability to learn the structure of a relational DB and in turn leverage the data as a business tool
Moderate experience or coursework in software development - understand programming concepts, ability to understand the logic of a computer program
What we would like to see
Bachelor's degree in business, data science, computer science or related field
Customer service experience
Project management experience
Salesforce.com experience
Any Six Sigma (Lean) certification
Experience interfacing solutions with Patient Accounting Systems such as Epic, Cerner, Meditech, McKesson, CPSI, Eclipsys, GE/IDX, and NextGen
Experience with data onboarding or healthcare data
